Sustain.

Check-ins, support, and continued use, so the thing you paid for keeps getting used.

Free one-hour consultation · No pitch, no obligation

What it is

Sustain is the step most projects skip and most projects need. We stay in touch, check whether the thing is still being used, and fix what has drifted.

Things break quietly: a staff change, a new supplier, a process that moved on. A check-in catches it before the tool quietly stops getting opened.

In the People and Culture track, Sustain is the same idea applied to habits rather than software.

Who it’s for

  • Growing companies with something in production that matters.
  • Small businesses who want a number to call rather than a contract.

What you walk away with

  • Scheduled check-ins at whatever interval makes sense, including none.
  • Fixes and small changes as your work changes.
  • An honest call when something should be retired instead of maintained.

Why John

Both halves of the problem.

John Correia is a professor of management information systems who researches how people actually adopt technology. Seven peer-reviewed papers, in journals including MIS Quarterly, on why people take up a tool or quietly work around it.

He also builds. Dashboards, automations, web apps, and a spatial audio platform taken from an architecture plan to working software. He directs a student consulting group that runs like a small company, which means he spends his week handing work to people who have to run it without him. That is the same problem you have.

He builds things so they can be maintained by the person who owns them, which is what makes a light touch enough.

Example

A set of property listing pages where every fact lives in one file per property, and the portfolio page pulls its photos straight from the individual pages. The rent per room is computed rather than typed. The pages cannot drift apart, because there is only one place where anything is true.

Free · No commitment

Let’s figure it out together.

Every conversation starts the same way: one free hour, no pitch, and an honest answer about whether we can help.
