Step two

Explain.

A conversation that makes sense of what is out there, and of what is worth solving with technology and what is not.

Free one-hour consultation · No pitch, no obligation

What it is

Explain is a working session about the landscape. What AI and automation can genuinely do right now, what is still a demo, and what applies to a business shaped like yours.

No slides full of acronyms. We talk about your actual work and sort it into things technology is good at, things it is bad at, and things that are not a technology problem at all.

Who it’s for

  • Anyone who keeps hearing they should be doing something with AI and cannot tell which parts are real.
  • Owners and leaders who have to make a decision and do not want to be sold to while they make it.

What you walk away with

  • A shared vocabulary, so the next conversation is faster.
  • A short list of what is worth trying, and an equally short list of what to ignore.
  • Permission to not do something. Often the most useful thing in the hour.

Why John

Both halves of the problem.

John Correia is a professor of management information systems who researches how people actually adopt technology. Seven peer-reviewed papers, in journals including MIS Quarterly, on why people take up a tool or quietly work around it.

He also builds. Dashboards, automations, web apps, and a spatial audio platform taken from an architecture plan to working software. He directs a student consulting group that runs like a small company, which means he spends his week handing work to people who have to run it without him. That is the same problem you have.

Explaining this well is the job he has done every week for years, to rooms of people who did not come in knowing any of it.

Example

Seven peer-reviewed papers on how people take up technology and how they decide what to share with it, in journals including MIS Quarterly, ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems, and the Journal of Information Systems. The subject of this conversation is the subject of the research.

Free · No commitment

Let’s figure it out together.

Every conversation starts the same way: one free hour, no pitch, and an honest answer about whether we can help.
