People and Culture track

Evaluate.

A culture and behavior assessment. How your people actually work, and where technology gets stuck.

Free one-hour consultation · No pitch, no obligation

What it is

Evaluate looks at the people side. Who uses what, who quietly works around it, who is waiting to be told it is safe, and who is the real decision maker regardless of the org chart.

Most technology does not fail because the technology failed. It fails because the people side was never looked at. This is the step that looks at it.

Who it’s for

  • Larger organizations where the tools are already bought and adoption is the problem.
  • Any leader who has rolled something out and watched it not take.

What you walk away with

  • A read on how your team behaves around technology, in plain language.
  • The specific blockers, named. Usually some are structural and some are one conversation away from being solved.
  • A realistic view of how much change your organization can absorb at once.

Why John

Both halves of the problem.

John Correia is a professor of management information systems who researches how people actually adopt technology. Seven peer-reviewed papers, in journals including MIS Quarterly, on why people take up a tool or quietly work around it.

He also builds. Dashboards, automations, web apps, and a spatial audio platform taken from an architecture plan to working software. He directs a student consulting group that runs like a small company, which means he spends his week handing work to people who have to run it without him. That is the same problem you have.

This is his research area, applied to your organization rather than a sample.

Example

Peer-reviewed work on technology adoption and behavior, including studies of what makes people follow or ignore security practice, and of the privacy decisions people make with fitness technology. Evaluate is that research pointed at your team.
